Nearby

Casa Margherita is located in Sant'Elia, a small seaside village on the Santa Flavia coast, a few kilometers from Palermo. Sant'Elia still retains the authentic atmosphere of an ancient fishing village: small colorful boats, houses overlooking the sea, rocky coves, and Mediterranean views characterize one of the most picturesque stretches of coastline in the area. Just a few steps away is the famous Caletta di Sant'Elia, a small bay nestled between rocks and particularly beloved for its transparent waters. Along the seafront are also bars and restaurants where you can stop for breakfast, an aperitif, or simply enjoy the view. The area retains a predominantly local character and is particularly suitable for those wishing to discover an authentic Sicily, far from the mass-tourist destinations. Also worth visiting in the surrounding area are the Monte Catalfano Nature Reserve, ideal for walks and scenic routes, and the ancient archaeological city of Solunto, located on Monte Catalfano and overlooking the Gulf of Palermo. Also within easy reach are Porticello, known for its fishing port and seafood restaurants, Santa Flavia, and Bagheria, with its historic villas. The Santa Flavia-Solunto-Porticello train station is about 2 km away, providing convenient access to Palermo city center.
