Casa Colibri

Casa Colibrì is a bright, fully renovated holiday home with sea views, located in the heart of Santa Flavia.

It is situated on the third floor of a building overlooking the town’s main street and enjoys a pleasant south-facing exposure, making the interiors especially bright throughout the day.

The house is equipped with all the comforts needed not only for a summer holiday, but also for winter stays or longer periods in Sicily.

Ideal for summer

During the warmer months, Casa Colibrì offers a cool and comfortable environment thanks to its air-conditioning heat pumps.

The sea is easy to reach: the nearest beach is about 1 km away, while the nearby fishing villages of Porticello and Sant’Elia offer beaches, small coves and seaside restaurants.

The house also features a balcony furnished with a small table and two chairs, ideal for having breakfast outside, enjoying a coffee or simply relaxing during the day.

Guests also have access to the building’s large panoramic terrace, located on one of the highest buildings in Santa Flavia. Here you will find a large table, perfect for outdoor meals or for simply enjoying the views over the sea, the town and the surrounding landscape.

The terrace is shared exclusively with the guests of Maison Brigitte, our second holiday home located on the second floor of the same building and also managed by us.

Comfortable in winter too

Casa Colibrì is designed to be enjoyed comfortably all year round.

In addition to the heat pumps, the house has a proper central heating system with radiators, an especially valuable feature during the winter months and one that is not always available in Sicilian holiday homes.

Thanks to its south-facing position, the house also benefits from plenty of natural light during the cooler months.

It is therefore an excellent option for anyone wishing to discover Sicily outside the high season, spend the winter near the sea, or stay on the island for several weeks or months.

Perfect for medium- and long-term stays and remote working

Casa Colibrì is particularly well suited to guests looking for accommodation for medium- or long-term stays.

The house offers a fast fibre Wi-Fi connection of up to 200 Mbps, ideal for remote work, video calls, streaming and everyday online use.

For this reason, it is a great option for digital nomads, remote-working professionals, or anyone wishing to spend a longer period in Sicily while enjoying all the comforts needed to work from home.

For longer stays, the house is also equipped with a washing machine, allowing guests to manage their laundry easily without relying on external services.

Another advantage is the availability of drinkable tap water, so there is no need to constantly buy and carry bottled water.

A convenient location even without a car

Santa Flavia train station is only 300 metres from the house.

From here, you can easily reach Palermo in around 15 minutes and Cefalù in around 45 minutes, as well as many other destinations along Sicily’s northern coast.

Bars, shops, bakeries, restaurants and the town’s main services are also located nearby.

Casa Colibrì is therefore a particularly convenient base for guests who prefer to enjoy their stay without renting a car.

Good to know before booking

Casa Colibrì is located on the third floor of a building without a lift.

The stairs are comfortable and not particularly steep, but this makes the house less suitable for guests with reduced mobility and for families with very young children.

It is especially suitable for couples, independent travellers, professionals and guests wishing to stay in Sicily for several weeks or longer periods.
